Dr. Kevin Evans, the director and founder of Preferred Health, has been serving individuals and families in Marshall and its surrounding communities since 1990. A 1989 graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN, Dr. Evans brings his compassion of Chiropractic along with a "whole-person" approach to wellness when serving our patients. He combines the very best hands-on-techniques along with state of the art therapeutic modalities and his expertise in nutrition to assist you in accelerating and/or maintaining your journey to optimal health.
His passions include spending time with his wife and two sons, restoring John Deere tractors, hunting and helping others reach optimal health through Chiropractic care.
Dr. Derrik Pinckney joins the Preferred TEAM after completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University. A native of Milroy, MN, he looks forward to "coming home" and providing exceptional care to you, your family, and friends.
Dr. Pinckney is an active member of the Milroy Yankees and is passionate about sharing Chiropractic and his experience in sports injuries and peak performance with his patients. He also has experience in diet, nutrition, stress relief and overcoming work and automobile injuries.

Dr. Michael S. Hanson, a Wisconsin native, graduated from University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a B.S. in Biology. He completed his education at Northwestern Health Sciences University with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. He became passionate about chiropractic after realizing the limitations of conventional medicine and the possibilities of alternative medicine. Dr. Hanson also received his certification in Acupuncture from NWHSU. He specializes in musculoskeletal conditions, infertility and sports injuries.
Dr. Hanson is a member of the Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce. He provides the community with lectures ranging in topics from Acupuncture, Nutrition, Fibromyalgia and Stress Management. He also performs ergonomic evaluations at your work place to decrease work related injuries through simple recommendations and stretches that are easy and cost effective. He resides in Marshall to be closer to his fiancé’s family in Lake Wilson. He enjoys spending time with his fiancé Abby and son Nolan, vinting, wood working and gardening.
Dr. Abby R. Miller grew up on a farm outside of Balaton, MN and is a graduate of Tracy Area High School. She attended Minnesota State University for her undergraduate degree and recieved her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in April of 2010. She is looking forward to “returning to her roots” to begin practicing chiropractic at Preferred Health. Dr. Abby has a passion for treating women and children of all ages. Her education and personal experience with her own son, Nolan, have allowed her to truly see and understand how chiropractic can help people of all ages. Dr. Abby has elected to expand her education by acquiring a specialization in pediatrics. This specialization has given her additional knowledge and techniques to provide optimal care for pregnant women, infants, kids, and children with special needs.
Rebekah Reynolds is a certified FirstLine Therapy lifestyle educator and rehabilitative exercise specialist. She has extensive knowledge and experience in natural nutrition and specializes in stress reduction techniques using breath and body. She has been a fitness instructor and personal trainer for 12 years, and teaches classes at the Marshall Area YMCA. She is also an adjunct professor at SMSU in the health and wellness department where she teaches yoga and step aerobics. Rebekah has a wealth of knowledge in exercise and nutrition and can help coach you to live a happier, healthier stress free life!
